The season in Türkiye is wrapped up with Galatasaray winning their 26th league title. With the season wrapped up, Transfermakt has updated the market values of 478 players playing in the Turkish Süper Lig. At the very top, there is no change as Gala’s star striker Victor Osimhen remains the most valuable player in Türkiye with a market value of €75m.

Süper Lig: All new market values at a glance

“Top strikers like Victor Osimhen are always in very high demand in the transfer market, and he is clearly one of the elite forwards in world football right now,” Transfermarkt Market Value Admin Türkiye, Sinan Yener, said. “Especially with clubs like Barcelona and Arsenal being linked to him, we decided to keep his market value at €75 million in this update.”

The big question is how much longer Osimhen will be able to remain at his current market value? “We will see what kind of path he takes during the summer transfer window and then reassess his situation in the next update,” Yener said. “If he stays in the Süper Lig beyond this summer, his market value will most likely begin to decrease because €75 million is still an exceptionally high valuation for the Turkish league. One of the biggest obstacles to a move back to Europe is believed to be his salary expectations, reportedly around €20 million per year. Despite that, there are still several clubs capable of paying a transfer fee of €75 million or more for a player of his level.”

Süper Lig market values: Barış Alper Yılmaz and Gabriel Sara up – Leroy Sané drops

Osimhen’s teammate Barış Alper Yılmaz, in the meantime, saw his market value increase by 15.4% from €26m to €30m. That makes the 25-year-old forward the second most valuable player in Türkiye. “Barış Alper Yılmaz’s performances in both the Süper Lig and the Champions League significantly increased interest from European clubs,” Yener said. “His physical profile, endless energy, and ability to trouble defenders make him a very unique player. Another important advantage is his versatility, as he can play on both wings, as a striker, and even as a wing-back when needed. Premier League clubs are closely monitoring his development and progress.”

The same can be said about Gabriel Sara. “Sara became one of Galatasaray’s most consistent midfielders this season,” Yener said. “His performances in the Champions League, ability to step up in big matches, and inclusion in Brazil’s extended national team squad in March all had a direct impact on his market value increase. There is especially growing interest from English clubs, and he could be one of the players expected to leave during this summer transfer window.” As a result, the 26-year-old saw his market value increase by €5m from €22m to €27m. Enough to share third place with Fenerbahçe midfielder Mattéo Guendouzi (-€1m to €27m).

It wasn’t all good news at Galatasaray as German international Leroy Sané saw his market value downgraded €2m to €20m. “Sané still maintains a very strong profile in European football, but age-related factors and some inconsistency throughout the season led to a slight decrease in his market value,” Yener said. “Despite that, he remains one of the biggest-profile players in the Süper Lig. Sané is still considered an important player for the German national team and is expected to be part of the 2026 World Cup squad. However, given his age and the broader market dynamics of the Turkish league, a slight decline was inevitable. Since arriving in the Süper Lig, his market value has dropped from €32 million to €20 million across multiple updates.”

Süper Lig market value update: Keep an eye on Oulaï, Augusto and Juan

Away from Galatasaray, three young stars have made their mark on Turkish football. Two of them play at Trabzonspor: Christ Inao Oulaï and Felipe Augusto. “Christ Inao Oulaï attracted strong attention from European clubs thanks to his rapid development, physical profile, and performances throughout the season despite his young age,” Yener said. “Chelsea are among the clubs known to be interested in him, and Trabzonspor reportedly rejected a €25 million offer during the winter transfer window. Oulaï is seen as one of the young talents to watch ahead of the 2026 World Cup. His energy in midfield, dribbling ability, and football intelligence make him stand out. He could break transfer records with a potential move this summer.” Oulaï saw his market value increase 35.3% from €17m to €23m.

While Oulaï is expected to feature for Ivory Coast at the 2026 FIFA World Cup, Felipe Augusto won’t be in North America with Brazil. But the forward is a player to keep an eye on regardless. “It is believed that Zenit and Benfica made offers close to €15 million for Felipe Augusto,” Yener said. “The young Brazilian forward attracted attention from several clubs with his performances this season. His pace, finishing ability, and effectiveness inside the penalty area make him a very modern Brazilian striker profile.” Augusto saw his market value increase by €5m from €10m to €15m.

The 22-year-old isn’t the only Brazilian forward with a big increase, either. At Göztepe, Juan has done an incredible job replacing Rômulo, who the club sold to Bundesliga side RB Leipzig last summer. “Juan has become one of the most valuable players in the Süper Lig outside of the traditional big four clubs,” Yener said about the forward whose market value increased by €4m from €8m to €12m. “Strong transfer interest and his performances throughout the season significantly increased his market value. Last year, Göztepe sold another Brazilian player, Rômulo, to RB Leipzig for around €20 million, and Juan could complete a similar high-value transfer. Since Göztepe’s owner, Sport Republic, also owns Southampton, the club has a strong pathway to the European market. Their advanced scouting structure continues to produce players like Juan.”

How Transfermarkt market values work

The Transfermarkt market values are calculated, taking into account various pricing models. A major factor is the Transfermarkt community, whose members discuss and evaluate player market values in detail. In general, the Transfermarkt market values are not to be equated with transfer fees.

The goal is not to predict a price but an expected value of a player in a free market. Both individual transfer modalities and situational conditions are relevant in determining market values. Examples of this are listed below. Transfermarkt does not use an algorithm (you can find the detailed market value definition here).
