Today’s biggest transfer stories
Arsenal, Manchester City and Manchester United are set to battle it out to sign Newcastle United midfielder Sandro Tonali this summer, per reports in Italy. The Italy international is thought to be exploring a move away from St James’ Park and his transfer fee could exceed €115 million.
Meanwhile, Chelsea striker Liam Delap has emerged as a potential striker target for the Magpies. Delap has scored only once in the Premier League since his move from Ipswich Town last summer, and the 23-year-old may welcome the chance for a fresh start after being reduced to an impact role from the bench.
Tottenham have reportedly sent scouts to watch Freiburg goalkeeper Noah Atubolu. The 23-year-old has earned rave reviews in the Bundesliga this season. He is one of several options being considered if current first-choice stopper Guglielmo Vicario returns to Italy, with Inter Milan keen on signing him.
